$2/1 Printable Welch's Juice Coupon!

Better hurry if you want in on this one because we all know how these high value coupons go fast!

Go HERE TO FACEBOOK , click the "like" button and get a link to print out at $2.00/1 64 oz. Bottle of Welch's 100% Juice!

Then, go to Safeway.com, click on the "Get coupons now" link and load the $1.00/1 Safeway store e-coupon onto your Safeway Club Card for a total of $3.00 off!

I am not sure what the regular price for Welch's is at Safeway right now and I don't see it on ad but by combining both coupons it should make for some pretty darn cheap juice :)

Hot Coupon, maybe a money maker if you hurry!

September 14, 2009

I Love My Blog Spark!!

Click HERE for a coupon for $1.60 off any Nature Valley Granola Clusters.

And, thru Tuesday, 9/15/09, they are on sale at Fred Meyer 2 for $5.00, so here is what you do:

Print 2 of Coupons (Its Brinks, so hit the back button 2 or 3 times until you see the computers talking to print the 2nd coupon)

Got your coupons? Good :) Next...

Log onto CELLFIRE and add the $1.00 NV Nut Cluster e-coupon to your Fred Meyers Reward Card (aka Kroger Card)

And...

Log onto SHORTCUTS and add the $1.00 NV Nut Clusters e-coupon to your Fred Meyers Reward Card (aka Kroger Card) as well.

Grab 2 bags of the NV Nut Clusters = $5.00
minus $1.60 x 2 = ($3.20) = $1.80
minus $1.00 CELLFIRE E-COUPON = .80 Cents
MINUS $1.00 SHORTCUTS E- COUPON = .20 Cents OVERAGE!

Since your already there, you might as well pick up your FREE yogurt :)

Yo-Plus = $1.99
Minus $1.00 PRINTABLE = .99 Cents
Minus $1.00 E-Coupon = .01 Cents OVERAGE

Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt = $1.99
Minus $1.25 PRINTABLE = .74 Cents or Minus $1.00 PRINTABLE = .99 Cents
Minus $1.00 E-Coupon = .26 Cents OVERAGE or .01 Cents OVERAGE.

(See this POST for more information on E-Coupons and Fred Meyer)

At this point, your going to be anywhere from .21 cents to .47 cents ahead, but I think that it is highly unlikely that they are going to hand over the change and let you walk out of there - even though they refuse to make their coupon policy public - so you are going to have to find something else for the overage to be applied toward.

So, get ready for this! My Blog Spark is sending me a "Snack Pack" that includes all 4 varieties of the Granola Nut Clusters along with a sling backpack, stainless steel water bottle, flash light and binoculars in exchange for my review of the Nut Clusters...AND, they are giving me another "Snack Pack" to give away!!! Once I get mine, I will start the give-away, so check back to find out how to get in on it!!

Fred Meyer Freebies and some more coupon policy information

September 4, 2009

First, the good stuff :)

Fred Meyer at Wandermere is having a Grand Re-Opening this weekend. They have pretty much finished their remodel and now they also have an in-store daycare that is FREE! Gotta love that! And, they are giving everyone a Free re-usable grocery bag too!

So, when you walk into the store there are stands with special store sales flyers on them - Im just guessing that they are for that store only but I don't know, they might be in all of them. Anyway, there are coupons on these flyers. One is for one gallon milk, .99 cents each, limit 2. Another one is for Hershey's candy bars, 4 for $1.00.

I had 2 .55 cents off any one Reeses Peanut Butter candy and 2 B1G1 Free coupons. I got 6 candy bars and made .10 cents :)

6 candy bars @ .50 cents each = $3.00
- $1.00 from the FM store coupon = $2.00
- .50 cents x 2 for the B1G1 Free coupons = $1.00
-.55 cents x 2 MFR = $1.10 taken off = .10 cents overage !

The FM coupon has a limit of 4 candy bars, but you can use the .55 cents off for each one, effectively making up to $1.20 for every 4 that you purchase.

And here is a deal that can be done at Any Fred Meyer. Yo-Plus yogurt is $1.99. Download the $1.00 e-coupon from Shortcuts onto your Fred Meyer card and use a $1.00 PRINTABLE. The e-coupon will only work once at Fred Meyer (I am learning) but once you use it you can go back to shortcuts and re-load it for the next trip.

While I was there, I stopped to talk to the CSR I am getting to know to ask about the coupon policy again. She told me she was trying to get one for me but as of right now Fred Meyer does not have a coupon policy available for the public. I also spoke to a CSR manager from a different store who was there to help with the re-opening, and another fellow he pulled into the conversation who was a Corporate guy. The Corporate guy also said that they dont have a coupon policy available for the public - in fact - there are actually 4 different policies regarding coupons, none of which are available to the public. I told him that was not right, if there are policies that dictate how Fred Meyers handles the shoppers who use coupons, then the shoppers were entitled to see those policies, how are we suppose to play by the rules if we don't know what they are? I also asked why there were 4 different policies but I didn't get an answer for that. So, I will keep working on them to make the policy (s) available.

More Fred Meyer info: e-coupons, and their policy on Competitor coupons

August 23, 2009

I did my first Gift Card Transaction today. I wanted to keep it small so I could learn some more about how the E-coupons work with Paper coupons and in the process, met a very sweet lady in customer service who was very helpful and informative about Fred Meyer's coupon policy. I will get back to this in a moment, because I think its going to be useful information for everyone.

On my List:

1 General Mills Total Cereal, sale price 2/$4.00 = $2.00
- .33 cents FM in-ad store coupon from last Sunday = $1.67
- $1.00 coupon that came with this last Sunday's paper (Im not sure everyone got this one, it was actually in the plastic bag with the paper and 2 sample boxes of GM Cereal) = .67 cents
- .75 cents Shortcuts e-coupon = .08 cents overage

1 Yoplait Fiber One yogurt 4 pack = $1.99
- $1.00 Cellfire e-coupon = .99 cents
- $1.00 printable = .01 overage

2 Nature Valley Nut Clusters, monthly sale price = 2 for $5.00
- $1.00 Shortcuts e-coupon = $4.00
- $1.00 Cellfire e-coupon = $3.00
- $1.00 printable x 2 = $1.00 for 2

3 Hamburger Helpers, 2 for $3.00 = $4.50
- .75 cent/3 Shortcuts = $3.75
- .75/3 printable = $3.00**
** I realized when I got home and reviewed the receipt that a mistake had been made here to my benefit. I must have handed the cashier 2 of the .75 cents/3 coupons because there is an additional .75cent MC coupon listed on the receipt that came off the total and I cannot account for it on my list. I sincerely hope that the cashier doesn't get in trouble for that, I dont think the system should have accepted it but for some reason, it did so I ended up getting a total of $2.25 off of the Hamburger Helper, meaning I paid $2.25 for all 3 boxes of HH.

1 pair of household scissors = $1.99
- $1.99 FM store coupon (was $2.00, the cashier adjusted to $1.99)

Total Spent on my Gift Card = $3.16

As I mentioned above, I had a very nice and informative conversation with a lovely CSR during this trip. I told her about my Give-Away and my challenge and mentioned that I remembered when Fred Meyer first came to Spokane they accepted competitors coupons, and did they still? Here is what she told me.

Fred Meyer will accept competitor's in-ad coupons WITH exceptions, which are:

1. If the in-ad coupon requires a minimum purchase with that store's own shoppers card, they will not accept it. An example of this are Safeway's in-ad coupons that require both the club card and a minimum purchase, these wont work at Fred Meyer. But, it appears that they will accept Albertsons Doublers as there is no verbage on them stating that they must be used with Albertson's preferred shoppers card or that there is a minimum purchase required. I asked about this specifically and was told YES, they will take them. They will take Walgreens and Rite-Aid Coupons.

2. They will not accept Catalina coupons from competitors, they are not re-embursed for them even though they say that are Manufacturer's coupons.

3. Technically, Fred Meyer does not price match. You can bring in an ad from another store and see if the department manager will ok a price match, but with-out the department managers ok, the cashiers cannot price match.

This was all gleaned from a casual conversation and I have no way of knowing if this is how it is at all the Fred Meyers in town. I will be testing the Albertsons Doubler info tommarrow and will post the results then.

Fred Meyer and E-coupons

August 22, 2009

There were a couple comments on my Give-Away Blog about using E-coupons with your Fred Meyer Shoppers Rewards Card and since I was going over there to do some recon for my gift card shopping trip I decided to test it out and see if it really works.

I received a coupon for $2.50 off 1 from Vocal Point a few days ago (OT here, but if the Frugal Chic hasn't already convinced you to sign up with Vocal Point then I will tell you it is well worth it and to get over there and do it, for free!)

Anyway, like I was saying, I had the $2.50 off coupon from Vocal Point, and loaded a $1.00 e-coupon from P&G E-Savers onto my Freddy's card.

Fred Meyer has the 4 month Bounce Dryer Bar for $4.99, after my $1.00 E-saver coupon and the $2.50 Vocal Point Coupon, I paid $1.92. I didn't really need it, I already have one in the Dryer and I love it, but I figured it would be worth it to test the E-Coupons on the Fred Meyer Card.

Here are websites you can load E-Coupons onto your Fred Meyer Card (aka, Kroger Card):

Cellfire - a bit tricky but do-able, you have to use a different mobile phone number then you did for your Safeway Card, and choose a zipcode where they have Kroger Stores and choose the Kroger Card to load to. I choose a zipcode in Texas. I read about this on the cellfire help pages, so Im ok with it.

Unilever - In order to load coupons from this site, you have to (again) pick a zipcode that has Kroger Stores and the Kroger Card.

P&G E-Savers - Again, load onto the Kroger Card.

Shortcuts - This is the easy one, just add your Kroger Card to your profile and pick your coupons.

One thing I did learn about the Fred Meyer Card is that you are limited to 50 E-coupon on it at a time, so don't get all silly like I did and try to load them all. If I had known that prior to loading the coupons on the card I would have been alot pickier about the ones I did choose.

Ok, Im so Happy today is here, because I will be picking the winner of my first give-away around 7:00 pm PST tonight. I cant wait to see who wins and I wish everyone who has entered a comment for the $30.00 Kroger Gift card the best of luck!! Hop on over to JANE4GIRLS800DOLLARANNUALBUDGET and check out her pile of bootie from her $30.00 challenge. I hope I can do as well!
