Today at Walgreens

If you check my blog every so often, you probably have noticed that I haven't been doing a lot lately. I had a 2nd surgery a little over a week ago and this one kicked my butt pretty hard. It's been a painful recovery and the pain pills make me pretty apathetic, so I haven't been getting out out the house much. Not to mention that I can't actually drive while Im taking them...well I probably could... but I don't think you all would want me too.

Finally got out of the house today! I got motivated enough to go to Walgreens, (don't worry, my mom drove) here is what I got:

2 Gillette Power Fusion Razors @ $8.99 each = $17.98
2 Boxes of Band - Aids @ $1.50 each = $3.00
1 Olay Body Ribbons Body Wash = $2.99
1 Olay in the shower moisturizer = $4.99
Tax = $2.51

Subtotal = $31.47

Minus coupons:
-$4.00 off Any Gillette Fusion Razors( P&G, 11/29, exp. 12/31) x 2 = $8.00
-$1.00 off Any Olay Body Wash (P&G 11/1, exp. 11/30)
-$4.99 off any Olay Body Moisturizer wyb any Olay body Soap
- $3.00 off Band-Aids (Walgreens activity book, exp. 12/31)

Subtotal for coupons = $16.99

Total OOP = $14.48

Got back $9.00 in RR's, $4.00 2 x for the Gillette Razors and $1.00 for the Band- Aids.

That is like spending $5.48 for all that stuff! I can live with that :), considering that almost half of that was the tax.
